Nivea Castaneda, Veronica Droser, Kate Hoyt, Jeni Hunniecutt, Jessica Johnson, Ben Boyce, Emily Krebs and Melodee Sova are graduate students in the Department of Communication Studies at the University of Denver.  In collaboration with their professor Dr. Erin Willer, community partner Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, and its program Drawings From the Heart, the authors wrote and illustrated this book as part of a service-learning project for the course Visual Narratives of Women's Health.

Experiencing the death of a baby is challenging for both adults and children. As adults struggle to cope with their own grief, they are sometimes unsure what to do to help surviving children. Help Me Remember is a book that tells the tale of three children whose families have lost babies. The story highlights research-based struggles and coping methods that can be useful for young people and families struggling with the death of a baby.
